Product Description Easy Model uh-1f "Huey" Czech Navy From the Manufacturer Dutch Royal Navy The UH-1 Iroquois is commonly known as the "Huey", due to its initial designation of HU-1 (helicopter utility). This multi-purpose military helicopter was developed from the 1955 U.S Army trials with the Model 204. It was first used by the military in 1959 and went into tri-service production in 1962 as the UH-1. With more than 16,000 total units made, this aircraft was made famous for its use in the Vietnam War.
