Vision Tap Polaris insulated connectors feature a clear exterior that allows electrical professionals to see their work and ensures the most secure conductor placement. These insulated connectors are available for a range of gauges and port numbers in single-side, off-set, dual-side and in-line entry configurations. The IT-3/0CB features 2 ports in a single-side entry configuration for the 3/0-6 AWG wire range. Vision Tap includes a high dielectric strength plastisol insulation that offers increased chemical and abrasion protection over a highly conductive aluminum alloy core. Gone are the days of complex splice bolts; Polaris Vision Tap connectors come pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor and don’t require any insulating tape. Just use a 1/4 hex key and a torque wrench to adjust the set screws and splice wires with ease. They can handle heavy-duty applications and are UL listed in multiple parallel configurations at maximum ampacity, in temperatures of -45 to 90 degrees Celsius.
