A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The reject side, marked by a red ring, should screw into the cut thread by hand, up to two turns, without excessive force. If it goes further, the thread doesn't meet standards. The good side should screw into the thread smoothly. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request, following DIN, ISO, ANSI norms in an independent lab using IAC-Gewindescanner. All parts and gauges are referenced at 20°C.
